About the Competition

The Competitive Programming event at CosmoCon'25 is designed to challenge your algorithmic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Participants will face a series of increasingly complex coding problems that test data structures, algorithms, optimization techniques, and mathematical reasoning.

This competition follows the ACM-ICPC style format. Solve problems faster and more accurately than your competitors to claim the top spot on the leaderboard. Problems range from beginner-friendly to advanced competitive programming challenges.

Event Information

Competition Rules

• Only Univeristy students are allowed to participate
• Teams can consist of 1 to 3 members
• All team members must be registered before the competition starts
• Programming languages allowed: C, C++, Java, Python
• Internet access is strictly prohibited
• Copying code from external sources is strictly prohibited
• Teams will be ranked based on number of problems solved and time taken
• Ties will be broken by total time penalty
• Each incorrect submission adds a 5-minute penalty
• Organizers' decisions on problem statements and judging are final
• Any form of cheating or misconduct will result in immediate disqualification
